My First Tattoo

On Wednesday I attached the Sanskrit words 𝐼𝑠ℎ𝑣𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝑃𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑑ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑎 to my body as a testament to this time in my life.

I know it will always be a reminder for me to trustfully surrender to the Divine unfolding of my life here on Earth. A devotion to actively put myself at the feet of a higher power and to allow for the natural ebb and flow of the universe to happen.

I believe that God’s will is not always to give us what we want, or to assign reason for everything that happens to us, but that there is learning in every experience that can serve our highest good. When we let go of the need to control, manipulate and judge - we can surrender to what is....and there is freedom and beauty in that. May each day I’m alive bring me closer to my own inner awareness, my ability to see only through the eyes of love, my detachment from ego, my dedication to letting go of who I think I am in order to become who I truly am, my trustful surrender
