Costa Rica

This morning, in the Costa Rican rainforest, amongst 22 of the most beautiful yogic souls, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training.
I’ll forever be grateful for this time- when I leaned into my supports (to hold down the fort while I was gone), got on a plane by myself (for the first time in my life), and flew to the jungle where I felt I was called. I immersed myself into the teachings of yoga for two intense and not always so comfortable weeks. Wondering what kinds of creatures would be joining me in the shower each morning and if there were going to be snakes in my bathroom at any given moment (hehe!) And I became more in touch with myself and with this practice than I could have ever dreamt. Yoga put me in touch with a light and love inside of me that I want to always hold onto and share. I met unbelievable friends, caught views I’ll hold onto for a lifetime and allowed each moment to just happen without attachment or expectation.
Leaving my family for 16 days was one of the most challenging decisions I’ve ever made; one that had me fearful of judgements. I had a dream to fulfill; Dharma even. Tomorrow is never promised. Im going to live this life with purpose, for my babies more than anything else in the world. Forever inspired, forever changed by this experience, forever a student of this practice
