38

Followed my heart all the way to Reykjavik, Iceland. I chased waterfalls, scoped out glaciers, saw a geyser, ran my hands through the black sand beach, did a headstand on the rainbow road, hunted the northern lights, swam in the blue lagoon and met new friends from around the world. I’m enveloped in the wonder of life and this Earth. I’m wrapping my arms around my two beautiful babies that I brought into the world. I’ve spent 38 years surrounded by the people who stand by my side unconditionally. Overwhelmed with gratitude for all that’s here for me.
This year has taught me grace in surrendering to the depths of all life’s magic. I’m seeing the duality that despair and joy can exist in the exact same moment, and that they can both be simultaneously creating beauty in their own ways. Im learning that miracles are happening even in our misfortunes. It’s becoming more palpable that those misfortunes offer us space to soften and transform so that we can live as deeply and wildly as we want, as long as we allow for it all.
I prayed that my life would crack me open and show me something deeper. I prayed for the kind of magic that would blow me away. I spent nights praying to the moon, wrote prayers by way of love letters that were ceremoniously set up in flames, I prayed in meditation by the ocean as my breathe synchronized with its waves, I prayed to the sunrise a thousand times. And here I am.
Knowing that there is a pulse of this Earth in which we are all calibrated as one. That we belong to a universe that’s so mysteriously interwoven where miracles are happening. Trusting my breathe a little more, finding my courage a little more, breaking free from what is no longer mine, in awe of this sacred ceremony of life. I feel young, I feel wild, I feel free. But more than all of that, I feel more alive than I’ve ever been before. I’m already in love with 38
